The brain grows in response to musical training in the way a muscle responds to exercise…I guess the old saying:”use it or lose it” is more accurate than we thought!

Come spend some time with us at Music Rhapsody this summer – we have ongoing classes throughout July and August with a fun “Under the Sea” theme and our summer music camp begins in just about a week with the much requested Disney theme!

We guarantee fun! See for yourself!

A Language Everyone Speaks

World famous opera singer Luciano Pavarotti said, “If children are not introduced to music at an early age, I believe something fundamental is actually being taken from them.”

Music affects mood, concentration, creativity, and influences the ability to learn.

The “rules” for language are about 90% the same anywhere you go…but the rules for music are 99% the same.

Music is the universal language which can be understood regardless of whether you speak English, French, German or Cantonese…look for tomorrow’s post to read more about how music affects us neurologically – but for today; please watch this amazing video which demonstrates that music truly is a universal language which everyone can understand!
