This instrument is used for a move and freeze game as the teacher plays the block. Use different tempos to go from slow walking to running or play a skipping rhythm. Also used to signal when to walk to another Orff instrument. Also a favorite for Syncopated Clock from Kids Can Listen, Kids Can Move!

I received Kids Make Music Too as a gift from my aunt, an elementary music teacher. My two children played the video tape daily for months until they finally broke the case.
