Fiberglass tenor-alto xylophone by Sonor. 19 bars; diatonic, (C1 to C3, with F# and Bb) with a solid wood resonator box.

The fiberglass bars are overtone tuned to the industry standard A=440. Palisono (fiberglass) xylophones have a similar resonance to rosewood xylophones. The advantage of palisono xylophones is that pitch is not affected by changes in temperature or humidity (hygroscopic) so these bars are ideal for humid climates. Sonor tenor-alto xylophones are unique because they cover a range of two full octaves giving you space for two students to play on the same instrument at the same time.

Includes TWO pair of Sonor SCH 50 felt mallets. TWO pairs of mallets with each diatonic tenor/alto instrument allows you the possibility of having TWO students use the same instrument at once. What a great value – two students on one instrument!
