Two-week Camp - 2013 - Dulcimer Year!

Two-week Camp $649 July 15 - 26, 2013 (includes t-shirt & materials)  Early Bird Discount: Register by 5/15/13 and save $30!
Hours:  9am - 3pm Grades: K - 8
 

There’s never a dull moment at music camp! We keep kids busy and excited all day with percussion based Orff classes (lots of drumming!), instrument building, (sure to be a keepsake), instrument lessons (guitar, ukulele, harmonica, piano, recorder, flute, trumpet, saxophone, and MORE!), dance & movement, singing, and music theater. Throw in a hearty serving of games and activities and you’ve got an amazing summer experience for everyone – and it doesn’t end there – the grand finale is a concert & picnic for family and friends on the last day of camp. Tuition includes t-shirt, instrument building materials, instrument lessons & music. Extended day care available before & after camp. (Does not include dulcimer kit & music book)*

*Dulcimer building takes place only once every four years at Music Rhapsody summer camps and 2013 is the year! A dulcimer is a fretted, stringed instrument which is part of the zither family. Grades 4-8 will get to build their own dulcimer, crafting, painting and designing every step of the way.  Stringing, tuning and then learning to play their final product! This is a very popular activity and always brings a ton of excitement and amazing creativity out of everyone.

Day Care is available 8-5:30 and additional hours before and after can be arranged with staff if needed.

The two-week camp will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1340 - 11th Street, Manhattan Beach.
